really nice sharpness and rich colours here :highfive:
Thanks guys. The wind is blowing so hard and so steadily that I almost gave up, but the berries disappear once they all ripen so I had to persist. No idea what eats the little poison lovelies, but they seem popular.
I love the colours here. The sharpness of the berries and the bokeh is very nice too!
thanks. my sweet little OM 90mm does deliver. who am I kidding...that lens is a tank - it weighs almost as much as my 300mm.
Great colours; I love the different stages of development you've captured here :)
I noticed the shutter speed used was 1/20. Did you use a tripod?
Yes, an ancient Bogen.
That red and yellow just pop of that green BG. Nicely done. :)
thanks much. I was so lucky to catch this bunch with a whole range of ripening colors. I missed the earlier ones and this is the only one left.
Must be a case of great minds - I'd photographed some the day you posted this. I'm not sure they turned out as well - bright summer sun. There are still stray flowers in spots that stay more or less shaded here. But from the stems it looks like yours are already getting the purple color on the leaves.
I do like the colors, and the stray bits of web caught between stems.
Very pretty, and they do look like little tomatoes! I just had a look at this and your other photos on your blog and do remember reading somewhere that tomatoes were of the nightshade family. BTW, your photos are really stunning on that black background!
oh what a funny coincidence. something eats the leaves right off the plants in the yard. beetles from the looks of it.
thanks for the kind words guys. and thanks for stopping by the blog. I still don't know what I want it to be, but I like the layout for it.
