The Inlet
Ahead of a big day of driving (around 8 hours), we were up early and headed into town for breakfast.
Found this inlet along the way and greeted the new day in silence ...

Looks great. I love the solitude of early mornings sometimes. Not as much as snuggly bed, but a lot.

Great shots MA. If you don't mind..and it may be me, but on the second one I think it's a bird in the sky but with it so far away I might clone him out. As far as composition goes, second is my fav with the trees silouetted on the left. :) Makes me jealous as it's freezing out there today.. left the cold to only get the cold..what is with that! ;)

Thanks WD and Kat :)
Yes Kat, if I was to print these I would definitely clone out the very distant bird in both shot 2 and 3 but leave the 2 closer birds in the 3rd shot of course.
You want warm ... you need to be here Kat ;) It's actually a bit cooler here than usual. Days of around 24 - 26 degrees lately. We usually have temps closer to 29 - 30 by now I'm sure.
