Shot one for me also please...has really nice leading lines that make me want to walk right into the photo. :)

And ditto for me... shot one has a nice enticing feel to it. The detail in the mossy tree is cool though.

I'll be different, cause i like shot 2 better. I guess it is that massive grounded tree that anchors the image ... not sure, but it definitely looks awesome.

Thanks Richard. It was cool in the rain-forest itself ... but crap out in the open.

Both are very well taken, but #1 for me also. Really like the dark foreground leading the eye into the ever brightening path into the forest. Nice comp.
