wow, I have no idea what this is exactly (tree trunk and vine? or root) but your take on it is incredible! love the light in this.

So you think roots grow off the tops of trees huh? Interesting. :)

Nope ... it's a vine ... probably a variety of strangler fig or something I'd say.

hence my confusion. :) although some trees have roots above grounds. Besides, given every other weird thing you have in Australia it could be possible.

Love the lighting. Also you make it look like the vine is wrapping around the tree where you can see in your second shot it some distance from the tree, Great job.
