This picture is taken at noon, December 30. in Alta, northern Norway. The colors were great and i just happened to have my camera with me.
The sun does not rise at this latitude (70*N) during winter.

Also, just looked up Tromsų, Norway on the map... wow, you are way up North!
thanks guys! i appreciate your comments! and iguanasan, my last picture (arctic barrack if you remember)was taken in Longyearbyen where i spent half a year, and it is even further north !
