I'm guessing this a more rare type of rose? Is that red iridescent if viewed on the right angle?
Not really that rare, but specially bred to be the "blackest" of all roses and very abundant producer. Not iridescent in my opinion, but the underside of the petals is different than the top and depending on the amount of exposure to sunlight and temperature the colour can change (either deepen or lighten)
Beautiful rose. I love the satiny look.
thanks aubintbay
That's just a great color for roses. This is a great pictures - wonderful sharp!
