Found this little lonely mushroom out on an cold damp autumn walk with the family.

Yum ... was it breakfast soon after?

ah, lawn mushrooms. I am familiar. after they decay and get really soaked they get mushy. if they then dry out and someone runs over them with a lawnmower, they make a huge cloud of dust. don't ask me how I know.

I love the colour in this one. Very nice.

This is really quite lovely Richard....I too love the colour palette and the light.

It was mid afternoon and very overcast, so I put a speedlite down on the ground to the rear left of the mushroom to liven it up a bit.
