Road Trip Chronicles

Anyone driven the Coquihalla Highway and the connector from Hope to Kelowna in BC? I've lost count how many times I've done that trip, but I am always awed by the changes in the landscape along the way. From temperate rainforest in the Fraser Valley, to alpine in the mountains to the ponderosa pine and bunchgrass of the Okanagan Valley, it's a five hour journey I've always quite loved.

These were taken late Dec of 2010. The first image is before Hope (but not beyond ;)) and the last is approaching West Bank.

it is a beautiful drive. I love the 3rd one but they are all well composed and shot.
