Planetary Conjunction
I captured last nights Planetary Conjunction of Venus, the Moon and Jupiter. The moon and venus are right next to eachother, with Jupiter below the two of them. As a bonus, also visible in this image is the star cluster, the Plieadies, the bluish grouping of stars just above the moon and Venus, and the 'V' shaped head of Taurus the Bull slightly to the left of the Plieadies...the brightest star is Aldeberan.

Interesting! What's the green laser all about? I hope you are not blinding pilots! :)

No, I am extremely careful when it comes to using that thing. Astronomy is one of my hobbies, and I use the laser to point stuff out to friends and family.....so naturally, I thought it would make a cool addition to the image.
Or should I process one of my images without the laser?

Interesting to me as well.

I like this as well, and i like the laser's inclusion.
