A major river diversion project has dumped a huge amount of rocks and cement into the river at a location called Pearce Estate Park, in order to channel the water into a less swift and dangerous stream. It has made the area look as if rocks were being planted instead of plants. Strangely beautiful.

Huh! It IS kinda ... well not beautiful as much as ... interesting perhaps I think. Changing the course of a river is a bold move.
