This is Makena Beach, one of the favorite swimming/snorkeling/boogie boarding beaches. The time I took this image it was pretty much deserted, not many people at the beach at all (was before "breakfast" time). Found this old dead tree, and liked it a lot.

The tree and shadows make this shot for me. I like it.
It makes a cool subject/element of interest on that beach.
