Hilton Falls - Trees and Rocks

This is what the trees and rocks look like in the area around the falls.

That's a very cool environment with the trees crawling over the rocks like that. I like that 2nd shot, looks cool the way the roots are coming toward us.

nice set asnow- I also dig shot 2. The roots look like they are strangling some of the rocks. Feisty roots they are.

I remember somebody else's forest picture and I really liked the subdued colors and tones. I tried to do this with number one, but I don't think it really came off. So I've reworked it to give it a bit more punch. Is this any better??

I meant to comment earlier (before your post above) that I liked the muted tones. I think it did work well with the textures and tones of the rocks and trees.
