I agree ... the person in shot 2 adds so much perspective and size to the falls

Exactly what I was thinking as well.

Really like shot two for the perspective on size also.
Falls of any magnitude are so hard to convey size in a photo, and this shows it so well. Looks like it was quite a bit wider before the water diversion?
