I did a day trip along the north shore of Lake Erie. Here are a few (well sorry a lot) of pictures I captured along the way.
The starting point, Port Dover. I guess with global warming Canada now has palm trees.

Cool set, really like that old camper van
A couple more kite boarding.
Port Rowan (I think)
Bird Studies Canada. I wish I could have spent a bit more time here, but I had a lot to cover in one day. Here's my hour's worth.

Port Stanley
Last two. Canadians are so trustworthy they keep their jails outside with no doors on the cell.
Wow - that was a big day out. Really nice shots with so much variety. I especially like the cars and the kite boarding shots
Well worth the trip with all these fantastic shots you have shared with us. Love the action shots of the kite-boarders. Very nice Asnow.
Definitely a long day, as I have done that same trip myself. Have taken the train at Port Stanley also, pretty neat little ride, but uneventful.
Thanks Richard and Runmonty. It was certainly a packed day.
Wow lovely variety of images here!!! Can't be sure which ones are my faves but maybe a few of the kiteboarding ones - Kewl!
Thanks HBG and Marko. I think my favourites are the kite-boarding ones as well (and the vintage cars). This is where I really got to test out the 70-300 lens I rented. I like the extra reach over the 70-200 f2.8 and it is somewhat lighter.
Really great series.Specially action shots.
