I like the simplicity of this Justin, it is a nice image.
I actually don't mind the idea of the frame, but wonder if it would be better if the background (frame) image was lower, so that the grey line of the base rock is below the corresponding line of the main image. In this way it would give the visual impression that the top image sits proud as opposed to being recessed. I don't know if this makes sense and if I have explained my thoughts properly.
Very nice image. Sort of reminds me of flapjacks with a dollup of whipped cream on top. My only problem with the shot is the subject matter. Inukshuks have become so proliferous in Ontario that Provincial Parks are now treating them in the same regard as rock graffitti. :)
The top color really add to that picture. Nice.
I like the framing but then again Im partial to some framing. the shot and concept are very cool regardless if you like the framing or not
