A Couple of Maple Leaves

Found these in the Halifax Public Gardens this past week. I'm not sure how well it'll work but the city is planning on keeping the Gardens open all winter this year. Normally, it would be closed for the season by now so this is a special treat... hopefully, it will be a fun place to shoot all winter long.

Cool shots, I like number 2 a lot.

I like the light on the second one. I'll be interested to see your winter shooting. Around here, the public ones are open sunrise to sunset year 'round. And the local botanical garden is doing their annual Winter Garden Aglow. Maybe Halifax will throw in a few strings of lights in a couple of weeks for you.

Looks like it was a fun walk. I like the detail in the leaves and do I detect a little frost in that first one.

Like that first one with the sharp detail. Almost looks 3D like sitting atop the grass.
