I found it, really. It's not planted. An interesting post-processing exercise in trying not to blow the whites and having the edges show without using a strong contrast.

The edge burning is well done here as is the overall exposure.

Thank you. I didn't actually burn or dodge at all - just lifted it a couple of steps. I've been fiddling with snow pictures, to see how useful the "rules of thumb" are for adjusting exposures. This much white is way different than a chunk of dark subject in it. Not a surprise, of course, just still not always sure of how much of what and where in the frame makes the difference.
Right now, it's a good thing I didn't find this today. I'm about 4 days into a cold, and that paper towel might have gotten used for something besides a photo!
Cool, and really not easy to do. Exposure is well handled here.
