Jason I liked that effect too, which is why I titled the shot as I did. However, it is actually the result of zooming at the same time as panning. I have other shots from the same position where I did things in different order and it appears that the light is streaming from my feet at the bottom of the frame.

Very well done. Composition is really nice, and the illusion of wind blowing out is stunning.
