Some old slides I found about a trip around the border between Mexico and Guatemala. BTW, I did not add saturation to the color of the water!!!

Really like the "isolation" look of that first one. Well done.
I too like the minimalist approach in the first, with the ripples on the water adding a "texture". The colour is amazing.
Oh that Montebello. My first thought thought was it was of the one just north of Montreal. I agree about the solitude in the first pic
Colours look really oversaturated in shot 2 but I really dig the comp. Personally I'd remove the cast.
Sorry Marko, I disagree about the cast. This is really what I saw and tried to represent in these pictures. These lakes are famous in Mexico for their intense colors.
The water actually had that colour?
I've never seen anything like it at all so I figured this was a bit of underexposure with lack of filtration at the time of capture.
But if it's real - keep it real ;) and I retract my comment.
I do like the simplicity of the first shot the best. And that is a crazy blue... interesting...
My first thought was how glorious the water texture is. It looks like this stained glass that I've used with that texture and shimmer. Amazing.
