It must be breathtaking to stand in the spot you were in to get this wonderful image.
I think those of us who live here are so used to this view we often don't notice it. This shot was taken in Burnaby, right smack in the middle of suburbia. The 70-300mm brought me up close and personal to these mountains without all the houses and whatnot getting in the shot. Lovin lives just beneath those lions:)

Oh my God, what a huge difference of quality between that 70-300mm (standard) and the kit lens 40-150mm (cheap standard).
