Poppy....

This was another one I had to shoot form an extremely low angle.....No retouching done on this one...this is how the colour really was!

Here's a yellow iris in the sun as well I found today!

For some reason, just looking at the Poppy makes me sleepy. ;)

The Iris, on the other hand, wakes me right up. Nice job on both of them.

Looking good! Never seen a poppy with my two own eyeballs. That would be neat to see!

Nice captures, Casil! The old Nellie McClung house used to have a sea of orange poppies which all got dug out. It is a shame really, they were great to photograph too.
