Bump...sorry. I enjoyed this particular shot, maybe you guys not so much?
I kind of like this shot JJ, I like the left side more than the right side though.
I find the right side distracting as well as the blown flower at the top mid-right. The overall composition feels a bit messy here. Hope that helps and this is just my :twocents: - Thx - Marko

The lighting on the left..I know that is what makes the photo. I'm thinking mabye a smaller aperture?
First of all, I love Daisies, they are always so cheerful. It's hard to hate them even when they are taking over the garden.
I can see what you are trying to do here and you are almost there (in my opinion). I wonder if you cropped up to the sharp flower leaving a little around it might work better.
I have to admit that while I like the use of light and shadow ... I don't find daisy's particularly interesting and don't feel the way the it's taken has elevated the interest for me. Doesn't mean it wouldn't appeal to someone else of course. It's simply a subject that I'm not drawn to.
