I took these about an hour ago as the last light of Christmas day faded away for us here in Queensland, Australia.

Unfortunately we aren't allowed to swim in there. But it was warm ... I think the water temp was about 30 c.

just curious: why can't you swim in it?

I must go read the sign properly. Not sur eif it's because it's a drinking water resource (shouldn't matter of course seeing as pelicans and fish **** in it) or if it's because of a blue-green algae threat.

oh, really excellent shots! I like the presence of the near green in 2nd and more in 3rd, but I like all of them.
