Found this nest in the middle of a rose bush today. My new 'nifty fifty' let me get an awesome focus on it at f1.8. It's not the best shot in the world but I like this new lens.

You always get great DOF with a sharp focus with these lenses :) Makes them a good portrait lens!
Have fun with that lens!! btw - are those cardinal feathers?
