Fogo Island Ice Storm
It has been quite a while since I posted any Fogo Island images on any forum; (first time for this forum!) the weather has been terribly dreary, plus lots of sick days. Anyway, I took a few today of the ice storm that we had yesterday, and thought I would share.
All shot hand-held with my Sony Alpha and trusty old Minolta Maxxum 100-200mm F4.5 lens.
The sparrow was taken through my dirty living room window, as was the ice shot with the fishing stage background. For the last one I actually stepped outside!!

Very nice. Looks like you had to do a lot of processing to that sparrow shot to bring it up.
The other two of the ice are very impacting!

I like the icicles too.
The bird has come up nicely too.

Good capture on the ice shots, I think the bird could do with a little cropping to have it fill more of the frame.

All great shots...love the ice and I like the work you did on the sparrow also. :)

Nice set Glen! I especially dig the composition in shot 3 :highfive:

Awesome pictures of Fogo! Makes me homesick!

I like all of these. I think my favourite is #2.

Very pretty images! Ice can look very beautiful but I'm starting to really hope for spring! :D

Nice set alltogether, but love #2 especially.
