life on mars

I did not see it until I looked at it with my Blackberry but one photo is of a landscape. I am guessing the flares are added in and there is a texture on top of that kind of reminiscent of red mylar with holes cut out of it.

Hey JAS, AntZ, ed, Iguasan. Some of you came very close! Yes I combined 2 pics. The texture is actually the roof of a playground play center.You know with a slide etc. The second pic is a shot of shore ice and snow hills along the Southern shore of the Great Lake Huron. I combined them and then used Color Efex Pro filters .I am not sure what ones to give the final look . Last I added a lens flare in Photoshop.

I do not know how to add 2 photos to a post so I will post the Lak Huron shot next. :)

This is the Lake Huron Ice shot. I used Color Efex Pro to change the photo "life on mars" into the photo Nuclear Winter. Sorry I do not recall the filters I used.

Looks like bubble wrap with a red light shining thru. This looks like it could be a good exercise for a future photo assignment. CAN YOU QUESS WHAT THIS IS?
