Cyclamens in the window
One of the ladies at work revived this little plant from nearly death and my window sill at work has been its hospital room. I had the little 35 mm 1.8 on the camera at work yesterday as I wanted to do some food shots. Here is a little experiment with the window light, fill flash and the lens opened up all the way. By the way, Renee did a nice job reviving this little beauty.

Nice revival on the plant:highfive:
Very unusual composition for me here..

I think this is very well taken. I like the city bokeh and the camera angle you've used.

Thanks, M.A.
Marko, here is another shot in a different window using the same wide open lens and fill flash. This window has two huge evegreens just outside so the already low light was quite a bit darker.

Nice composition. The back lighting really shows the patterns in the flowers. And like MA said the hint of city buildings in the background is awesome.

I love both of these but the second is my favourite! Well done!:highfive:

Have to say I like the first one most. The opaque petals with the light coming through them, and the concrete forest, barely discernible in the background, does it for me.
Nice shot Jas.

I can't decide between shot 1 and 2... ...These are very nice Jas
