Can I get a witness
Hauled my sorry ass outta bed at 3:15 today. Wasn't sleeping much anyway, so what the hell I went to the coast. Ordione Point State Park is (and has been) one of my favorite places in NH. It was a military installation in WW2 (part of the coastal protection network), but is now a park & science center with acres of rocky beach, woodlands and salt marsh. My best friend and I used to come here to talk and search for sea glass.

All shot with the E-30, ZD 12-60mm, CPL & my ancient Bogen tripod. Came home to fresh coffee and homemade buttermilk pancakes. What could be better than that??

Thanks guys. A while back I posted some cattail shots and some tidepool (reflections) images...both are from the same park. It's a great place.

Beautiful shots WD. You sure made it worthwhile to lose a little sleep. Very nice set.

Thanks you two.
Might head back there tomorrow to see if I can find the 17th century homestead and cemetery. They were basically left alone when the government took the Ordione's land by eminent domain to build the military fort. Unfortunately the family never got their land back, but we all get to enjoy it now so I guess there's something positive there.
