Found these the other day on my bug infested walk through a nearby state park. They're pretty impressive. Shiny, colorful and huge - like dinner plate size.

They are all perfectly shot WD. Love all three of them. The DOF and the sharpness in each shot is excellence.
Very nice set Wicked! I think shot 3 is my fave here but all of these catch my eye.
Thanks guys. That last one really conveys the texture well...it's smooth, dense and a bit waxy, like patting a dolphin.

Being an old trekkie, this could be the "enterprise" being attacked by a giant space slug. I bet this image would lend itself perfectly to some major PS manipulation ... mmmm YES!!!!
