Silence – Photograms
An expression that takes in the silence of directors, actors and technicians as they exist in the motion of collective creation. A silence where self-awareness is lost, a silence that creates space, a silence from which all things can finally emerge. Silence told also through the characters, through their preparation, through their ascent reflected within the dialogue of the actors.
Setting these photos using the Polaroid emulsion transfer technique allows distancing from the primary promotional setting. Emulsion lifts are a Polaroid creative technique which involve separating the image from the Polaroid support then depositing the emulsion on
