    Default Tiny Spotted Pardalote

Went for a walk in the rain-forests above the Gold Coast today and found this little guy ... he's about 2 inches long, maybe a frag more.

Thanks JAS. He was so tiny but thankfully very inquisitive!

He's adorable. Was it the bird seed hidden in your pockets that got him to sit still?

No bird seed ... just a wild birdy in the middle of a rain-forest who liked having his photo taken ... for a minute.

That is a great set. Funny how tiny birds seem to have so much personality.

Very nicely captured MA, and such a beautiful specimen. Like the eye sharpness in #1.
From what I read they are very tiny, not much larger than a hummer. Excellent job on such a small species.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks HBG. They certainly are very small.
