    I am still working on this idea and not yet nailed but it's getting closer. the dogs don't have to jump this, there is more then enough room to go under but they do, every time, at full speed (hence the problem getting the shot) with full joy. this is Belle and while I wish it was a bit sharper I love her expression.

    cracking shot Bambi, it looks pretty sharp at this resolution, you just start noticing it on the larger flickr version.

    Awesome! Love it. Richard's right, at this size you can't really notice the lack of sharpness that much. Since it sounds like you have the chance to shoot it again, ramp up that shutter speed to 1/200 and turn on the flash. That should help quite a bit. 1/60 with a fast moving dog certainly won't catch it.
