    Nice sharp detail in those feathers JAS. He/she looks happy enough to be photographed.

    Thanks, all! When she is a bit braver, I will try and get a full body shot so you can see how pretty she(?) is. Right now its a matter of holding her with one hand while holding the D300 with the other. I put on the little 1.8 35mm as the bigger lens was making her a bit nervous.
