    Thanks Iggy. I rented a 100-400 L lens for the weekend to try my hand at some bird pictures. I know nothing about bird photography and know even less about what species they are. But I thought I would give it a try. HBG gave me a great tip on an Osprey location. I will post some of those over the next couple of days.

    Mute swan. It's an Asian species, imported to be decorative in parks and such. Problem is they have other ideas, and they do compete with native species.

    Very nice timing Asnow. Nice and sharp, looks like you handled that lens well.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
