    Default More Rainy Day Roughies

Went out a couple more times just cruising the backroads and came across these two rough legged Hawks. Both times we just started out and sure enough, starts raining/sleet/snow.

Nicely done, HBG. Yesterday we had a chap give our photo club a lesson on how to capture birds in flight. Awesome images he showed us. Yours are just as beautiful. His name is Rob McKay, and here is his website.

Thanks all. They are a beautiful raptor that we only get to see in fall/spring as they migrate to/from their arctic summer grounds.
