    Default Rainbow Lorikeet

I am guessing that Mad Aussie or Antz would have posted photos of rainbow lorikeets somtime in the past, but here is my take. These birds are everywhere around here. They make a hell of a noise and used to make a real mess of my apple tree. They do look nice though. .

Aww, they're just being cute and friendly. I like the way the second one is sneaking around for a bite, like you won't see it.

We have both, but these birds are so individual. This a particularly nice specimen. Very nicely captured. I also agree than can make one heck of a racket in large numbers.

WOW, I would say they are colourful. You captured it so well with some lovely sharp detail. Love that closeup of the second shot. Amazing sharp eye, and feather detail.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Yep, we both have put the Rainbows up here before of course ... but yours are very nice too. I think it's where you get them that makes it special, and those red buds really help. Nice work.

Very nice! Love the second one especially! They have such personality. Their beaks are like flower blossoms in their own right. These guys are nectar feeders are they not?
