    Nice capture Kev. Looks like all young ones from this year maybe. Hopefully they are gone now, as I heard you got a little of the white stuff down there.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Ya got snow yesterday, we only got 4 or 5 " , varies where you go, saw these guys on christmas day so they are still in the area.

    Are they getting handouts? Is the kestrel's prey getting handouts? They might all decide the cold's worth putting up with in exchange for the easy food supply. (If everyone continues to stick around, maybe you'll have more pictures for us)

    no handouts other than corn stubble fields for the cranes, have not seen them for a couple days now, maybe the cold and snow has moved them away finally, or they are back further in the fields? Also the snow that has been coming down has not making loking very easy either!
