Default Are two heads better than 1?

Watched this little guy swim by me twice but he didn't want his picture taken. He'd dive, and disappear for 15-18 seconds; then resurface in a different location about 20 feet away, but would only stay in view for about 3 seconds.
I was lucky enough to get 1 keeper out of approx 20 shots, before he disappeared for good.

My daughter favours the cropped version; my wife favours the original. What do you guys think?

My preference is the original. The cropped one just feels a little too tight to me. Also love that blue tone, especially in the first one.

Def loses something in the crop version. Original all the way for me. Nicely done btw.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

first one for me too! I am always obsessed with giving the subject room to move out of the frame, but for this example I think it works better the way you have cropped it. Thanks for showing me that rules are meant to be broken
