    Default More Snow

This owl has made me sit for hours waiting for it to leave its favourite perch, the hydro pole. Well today, after about 20 minutes of sitting, it finally took flight...and I totally missed it! I've likely sat there for 6 hours (all visits combined) waiting to get some flight shots. Well, I am pretty sure the owl felt sorry for me because after only a couple minutes of sitting it took off again but I didn't miss this time.

Wow! Very nice set Mike. Love that lookin' back capture, but the winner for me is that 2nd one, with the wing placement and the piercing eyes.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks all. I don't have much experience at photographing owls and that showed when I didn't take into account their wing span.... its HUGE!! So I got a lot of images with clipped wings. However I guess getting too close is a good problem to have.
