Elusive White Rabbit

This is a discussion on Elusive White Rabbit within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; Saw this guy in our front yard when I was taking out the garbage on morning (taken January 13, 2014)...

    I really like this comp. As for critique, both the snow and rabbit (the entire scene actually) are too blue for my eye - but this is a really easy fix.

    Cool shot but the image is just not sharp, I am wondering if you are uploading them too big and the site is compressing them or are they just not sharp. Take a look around the site, see what I am talking about with sharpness. Look at RDBender's "Female Cardinal" Female Cardinal

    See how the bird is so sharp you could cut your hand on it? Trust me, I was there not too long ago, struggling with sharpness.

    If you could, try to post EXIF data for your images (speed, f/stop, focal length, etc). We maybe able to see where you are going wrong with just this data (i.e. - focal length > speed)

    yup this image was compressed.

    1028 is the max width (this image was 1029 so it was compressed) and 320 k per image .......or attach from Flickr

    I saw this image on your Flickr page, it is a lot sharper then it appears here. Very nice shot.
