Default First shots with my new D500

I finally upgraded to the Nikon D500. I've been wanting this camera for quite a long time, and with boxing week sales and trading in some old gear I was able to get it with $1300.00 off the regular price!
I've only been able to try it out once so far and the conditions weren't great, but I'm excited to see how it does in good light. The speed with the XQD card just blows my mind. I'm still working out the kinks and getting it set up to my liking.

These are a family of transient Orca hunting a seal. The seal got crunched as is evident by the blood pool in the last photo.

Really nice shots. I kinda lust for the D500, but I suspect I've already bought my last DSLR. Mirrorless for me from here on out.
