    Default Hung out to Dry

This thought this guy was a cormorant, but he is actually a Darter. Male I believe. The lighting was horrible as it was bright 11am sun, and there were lots of reflections off the rocks and his wings. He was quite patient though, as he let me walk all the way around him until he flew off providing shot 3.

I include this one only to see him from the front, because it is an "average" shot at best.

Great work AntZ! I've seen a couple of Darters now but can't get close enough to them. You must have caught him with wet wings so he pushed his luck.

    Nice!
I find birds the hardest subject to shoot.
    Good job.

Despite the harsh light, you were able to pull off some really good shots - good on you!
