11 days till I turn 49 hopefully there's a flash coming my way. Hints have been many

Yes the colour match is cool but it also makes them very hard to spot. I've looked right at them without seeing them at first. This is how I first saw the owl

He wasn't the only bird I saw up in the trees, only the duck seemed more wary of me and took off as I tried to get a better shot so this is all I could get.
