    Default Ate Alive

So, I know you Canadians feel as if you have a mosquito problem. Just so you all know, I feel your pain, I really do. I went to the park today to walk the dog and take some pictures and was almost carried off. I stopped by a pond to get some pictures of a few frogs I promised I would get pictures for MA. The frogs are out in full force, but still have a lot of growing to do. However, the mosquitos are out in full force as well.
I felt so bad for this guy. I counted 16 mosquito's on him, and a hundred more or so around me. Remember, this is just his head, ugh. Just thought I would share the experience. The mosquitos are alive and well here in the Black Swamp. This is an unedited image. I havent been able to get home yet and wanted to share this without forgetting about it.

Poor little guy! That's a good and unique shot JJ. I've seen a frog getting hammered by mozzies before.

Mosquitos and frogs have a funny relationship. The frog cant eat the mosquito if its on its back. So as long as the mosquito is smart and stays there, it should be ok. Huh, a smart mosquito? Who would have thought. Either way, yeah, they both need each other. I have a few other shots, but not many. I didnt want to stick around long without some deet. That what I was doing every 30 seconds or so without it.
