    Another couple of shots




    The view from underneath. This shows the advantage of the extension tubes to be able to focus on the lens front element.

    It looks almost metallic!

    That last shot is actually sitting on your lens front element? Or the UV/Haze filter?

    Thanks.MM,MA I really like the patterns on his side.

    Yep, filter. Do you ask because of the focusing or just interest? I am reasonably certain I could have focused on the front element as I wasn't at the limit with focus.

    Yes I was asking because of how close you can focus with those tubes!

    I can lend them to you if you like? There is nothing to them, so you'd have to try pretty hard to damage them. Plus maybe if you take them from me I'll take some real pictures
