I can tell it's a new heron, because it's much smaller than the ones I usually see. The plumage looks like it's fully mature, but I guess the size indicates it's a teenager.

I can tell it's a new heron, because it's much smaller than the ones I usually see. The plumage looks like it's fully mature, but I guess the size indicates it's a teenager.
