I'm not a fan of a lot of editing but your results are very nice on this one. Old and elegant. When did you take the shot and what did you do to it?

Very well done. The spirit of the season is upon us, that's for sure!

Some funky PP play here jas! What I dig most about the shot is the angle of the head and the clarity of the glasses, you just know he's looking down at a child....or drunk. lol - sorry couldn't resist.

Andrew, I started by using a cloudy setting on my camera as I wanted a warm old fashioned feel to the photos. I then used a preset in LR to get the colour change and it also brought out more detail in the beard. A bit of a white vignette was added. Then I sent it to Photoshop Elements, did a bit of a pop in Topaz 4 after which I added a simple border and signature.

I don't know how to describe what it is exactly. The best I can say is it is a sort of a "doll'. He is about three high, sitting on a leather chair with a bag of toys in his lap.

Lol, Marko! You had the drunken Santa too, huh?
