    Default Experimentation...

    Experimentation.

During a recent workshop on the Nikon D300, we went through the Live View function. This photo was taken using the Live View | Tripod function. Since I had no tripod, I set the D300 on the table top and went through all of the steps to take this photo.

Not too bad considering it was a first attempt.

Cropped to 16:9 in PS7, added stroke and border canvas. Otherwise this is SOOC.

The only thing I would have done differently is I'd have eaten all the sweets first...

Live view is a handy feature for some things.

i'll tell you a secret you can share with your class... (especially for low light incandescent photography)

you can use live view to adjust your white balance before shooting....

set your live view on the monitor and move your white balance setting to the specific temp setting.... then scroll the temperature up or down until you have a colour match....

nice pic.... i would have twisted the end of the loose candy though....

    I like this shot.
Had you posted it in the critique forum I'd would have added further input that I think would have been useful, but this is quite well done indeed.
