I got a lot of practice at panning when I was the the vintage car racing. Every one of these is a different car and I couldn't chose which ones to show so you are getting the whole set.

Nice series and good techniques
Good practise for sure - fun set!
Thanks AT, Yisehaq and Marko. It was great practice. At first I tried 1/60 of a sec and my hit rate (in focus) wasn't too high. I finally zeroed in on 1/100 to 1/125 as the optimal speed for me. This was with my 55 to 250 lens. I remember seeing a podcast of pro photographer that does F1 racing and even with those monster lenses he was shooting at a ridiculous speed I believe he said 1/15 sec. Yikes those guys are good.
AT - My favourites (cars not necessarily pictures) are the MGs and the Minis. I had to laugh at the green Jaguar. It doesn't look too racey, It's like somebody is out for a luxury drive around the track.
very cool series - well done
Thanks Ed
