    Default Symmetrical

I posted a picture of my Great Uncle the other day. He was into photography in a minor way. I got some old close-up filters from him. They do not help out much with a 50mm lens. I wanted to use them on my 80-200 but its a 49mm objective. Well, I lucked out and he also had a 49-52 up converter that could be used. I keep a UV/Haze filter on it so I hooked up the converter and placed the 1 and 2 closup filters on top of the UV filter. Yeah, I was using 3 filters at once. WHOA!! Works great as a macro lens. Pretty sharp for what it is, but nothing like a true macro. Either way, this is one of the shots I got. Im going to post a few more with them later.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

Interesting object. Nice geometry and shadows. Maybe you should have saved this for the "What is Game"

Oh it can still be used for the game. Its just a sneak peek in case it does end up there. Unless you already know what it is.........
